Bound By Symmetry

I like things like music, cooking, poems and shitty TV. And Europe.

Happy Hour: Pomegranate-Champagne Punch(original recipe)

 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
 1 cup pear nectar
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
 1 bottle (750 ml) Champagne
It’s Thanksgiving this week and that means you’ll likely need to make a lot of drinks for guests. Punch is the perfect answer for a busy host/ess. You can make it ahead of time and top it off with the champagne (or prosecco/ginger ale/whatever sparkling thing the recipe calls for) when you’re ready to serve.
I made this punch for my wedding last year and everyone loved it! I pre-mixed the juices and Grand Marnier in the morning and instructed my mom to mix it all together right before cocktail hour. It’s super easy and tastes great. Add a block of ice dotted with pomegranate seeds to up the festive factor (how-to), and I promise you’ll impress your guests.
This recipe will make about 10-12 glasses of punch, but you can easily double or triple the recipe.

Guys, I’m really very obsessed with my friend Marissa’s mainly-cocktails blog. She should come on the show and make some holiday punch with us, right? Don’t you agree?
